A Life Without Baggage
Today I watched travellers board the short ferry from the mainland to Koh Samet. I couldn’t help but notice my own mountain of luggage — a huge bag and a backpack — while beside me stood a chic French woman with the tiniest overnight case on wheels.
She looked effortlessly elegant. I, on the other hand, looked like I was moving house.
And in that moment, I couldn’t help but think — I want that life.
A simple life.
A life without baggage... in every sense of the word.
